Earlier this year, new sepsis guidelines were introduced. Pretty exciting stuff considering they haven't been updated in years! I've recently published an article on the Ausmed blog about sepsis that you can find here.
One of the most important things about being a nurse is recognising a deteriorating patient. It is important that we recognise when patients conditions are declining so we can act quickly to help the patient. That's why it is so important we be up to date with best practices especially in relation to deteriorating patients.
